China White Snow Bud white tea

White teas are much appreciated and the best sorts come from the Province Fujian in China. Tea leaves are not treated as they are in producing green tea, but are only let to dry out. They are consequently of uneven shapes and take up at least twice as much space as other teas.  Based on the latest research they are believed to contain substantially more antioxidants than the green tea. The white tea ingredients are very efficient in combating free radicals that cause the aging of skin; its essence has thus been increasingly used in cosmetic industry.   CHINA WHITE SNOW BUD is harvested around the end of March and in the beginning of April in early morning hours, when the leaves still contain a lot of dew. Then they are manually sorted and quickly dried to preserve the freshness of the leaves. This is a mild tea, good for drinking also in the evening.
