Product description
The province of Yunnan in China is the cradle of tea and the very heart of the tea world. Tea tree (Camellia sinensis) originates in the area of today’s Yunnan, east of Himalaya, the northern part of Myanmar and the Indian Assam. It is interesting that today’s widely appreciated black tea only started to be produced in Yunnan not more than half a century ago. Before that, green tea and pu erh were given priority. Black Yunnan contains a lot of golden tips that give a golden-reddish infusion of full, soft, not bitter and slightly chocolate aroma. It is a full bodied tea best served with breakfast or afterwards, with or without milk.
