Product description
Even after the island Ceylon has been renamed Sri Lanka, the teas coming from this island, which looks like a single big tea garden, continue to use their colonial name. The most important estates are in central highlands, which climb to the altitude of above 2000m, where tea bushes producing the famous Ceylon black tea are grown. The beverage is characterised by its amber colour, strong taste, and a rich, full aroma. Newvithananande estate tea is one of the finest quality Ceylon teas. It is produced in Dimbula region in the western part of the island.
