Product description
Even though Kenya is a young tea country, it has already become the third largest producer of tea, lagging behind India and China only. Tea bushes are grown at the altitude of approximately 2000 m, where a favourable climate accounts for a relatively constant product quality throughout the year. Most tea leaves are ground into fannings quality for tea bags. The Marinyn estate is one of the few that uses the orthodox method of manufacture, which preserves entire tea leaves. The infusion is of copper red colour, strong taste and full aroma. It is similar to Assam classical black tea and is usually consumed in the morning, with or without added milk.
