Assam TGFOP1 Dirial black tea

India is today the largest producer of tea in the world, whereas the biggest single coherent area where tea bushes are grown is Assam at the Northwest of India, stretching along both banks of Brahmaputra river. Due to a favourable climate and absence of very low temperatures, tea leaves are plucked from April to September. Assam teas are stronger than most other black teas. They are used for brewing a highly fragrant and aromatic beverage of dark orange colour and unmistakably strong taste. With a drop of milk it becomes a classic morning tea, and because of its bitterness also blends well with a touch of sugar. Most of this tea is consumed in the North of Europe where they use it to brighten their dark mornings and long, grey days.  Tea from the Dirial estate is an Assam classic for alert mornings and invigoration at any other time.
